This includes site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, road alignments, and structural components necessary for the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas facilities. |
| Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan projects, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines. Participate in project scoping, estimating costs, and scheduling to ensure projects are completed within timeframes and budgets. |
| Perform civil engineering calculations and analyses for structural integrity, hydraulic flow, and material stress factors. Identify potential design issues and develop solutions to ensure the infrastructure's reliability and durability in harsh environments. |
| Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and practices. Stay updated on changes in legislation and technological advancements that may impact engineering design in the oil and gas industry. |
