This position requires a blend of technical knowledge in instrumentation and control systems, proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, and an understanding of the operational demands within the oil and gas sector. The goal is to produce accurate and functional designs that ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities and equipment. Job Requirement Produce precise technical drawings and schematics of instrumentation systems, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and layout plans, using CAD software. Ensure designs meet industry standards and project specifications. Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and transform conceptual designs into detailed CAD drawings. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs, revisions, and project specifications. Ensure all drawings are correctly archived and accessible for future reference. Update and revise drawings and schematics as required based on feedback from engineers, site conditions, or changes in project scope. Conduct reviews of designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly those relevant to electrical and instrumentation engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil and gas industry, including sensors, transmitters, and controllers. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to oil and gas operations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
