Job Requirement
Oversee the receipt, tracking, and distribution of all engineering documents. Ensure documents are controlled and handled in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings, and manage the distribution of revisions to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and only current documents are accessible to the team and stakeholders.
Adhere to legal, professional, and regulatory standards in managing documents to ensure compliance and audit-readiness.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, contractors, and other departments to ensure that documents reflect current project specifications and information.
Maintain a comprehensive filing system for electronic and hard copy documents. Ensure secure storage and easy retrieval of documents.
Generate and update reports on document status, progress, and discrepancies for project teams and management.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.
Previous experience in document control or records management, preferably in the engineering, construction, or oil and gas sectors.
