Job Summary
A Senior Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects, particularly focusing on structural aspects. Their role involves analyzing and evaluating structural requirements, providing technical expertise in the design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, managing budgets and timelines, and supervising junior engineers and technicians. They work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Additionally, they may be involved in conducting feasibility studies, performing site inspections, and resolving technical issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirement
• Identify and resolve engineering issues which are critical for project schedule and cost.
• Review engineering drawing, conduct engineering analysis and recommend technical solutions.
• Check the engineering deliverables for correctness and quality, marks-up any comments or revision on these documents and ensure that the changes are included and completed on the latest copies of all affected documents
• Overall and detailed engineering design, associated calculations and specifications of all structural works required for the onshore, offshore oil and gas production facilities.
• Overall supervision of the engineers under him or her, the overall design work and endorsement of detailed designs related to structural works.
• A recognized degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or relevant field.
• Must be computer literate and good in Microsoft office and engineering software i.e STAAD Pro, Pipedata Pro, Sacs, Usfos, and Worksuite Hub.
