Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Instrument Engineer to join our dynamic team in the engineering design sector, specifically within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas projects. This position demands a deep understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory compliance, as well as a proven ability to manage projects and lead a team of engineers.
Job Requirement
• Initiate and manage overall departmental manpower planning efficiently.
• Manage department efficiently to ensure excellent departmental performance and optimized the resources effectively.
• Develop and initiate training development plan for staff.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external clients on relevant technical matters.
• Review and approval of timesheet and overtime authorization, administrative matter e.g., expense claim, annual leave and training plan of staff.
• Review the contractual requirements and initiate effective manpower planning, tasks and responsibilities together with time scales in order to fulfill the contract.
• A recognized degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in engineering design of projects in oil & gas industry.
• Well versed with instrument drawing and submission. Must be computer literate and good in Microsoft office and engineering software, i.e PDMS.
